Beatrice Diamond
Beatrice Diamond is believed to be the founder and commanding figure of the Diamond Circle, an exclusive criminal organisation operating throughout Blackpool. Despite appearing in numerous intelligence reports, she has never been directly linked to the planning or execution of a confirmed offence.
Investigators believe Beatrice coordinates operations from Mabel's Coffee Lounge, where she maintains the appearance of a pampered café cat while trusted members of the Circle carry out her instructions elsewhere. Her movements are carefully controlled and her alibis are consistently supported by witnesses.
"A true lady never leaves loose ends."
The Diamond Circle is known for its exceptional loyalty. No confirmed member has ever provided evidence directly implicating Beatrice, and several investigations have collapsed after witnesses unexpectedly changed or withdrew their statements following visits to Mabel's Coffee Lounge.
Intelligence analysts believe Beatrice maintains an extensive network of informants operating through cafés, businesses and private social gatherings. Exactly how information reaches her remains unknown, although detectives suspect she is often aware of investigations before they have officially begun.
Her greatest strength is not intimidation but information. Beatrice rarely acts personally, preferring to direct operations through carefully selected members while preserving her flawless public image and complete deniability.
