Classification: Initial Intelligence
Filed By: Cat Crimes HQ
Summary
Officer Molly first came to the attention of Cat Crimes investigators after an internal corruption inquiry uncovered irregularities within the Claw Enforcement Division. Once regarded as one of the force’s most promising officers, Molly became linked to a series of collapsed investigations involving missing evidence, altered witness statements and misplaced case files.
Further investigation connected the suspect to the distribution of illegal catnip and allegations of accepting bribes to protect known offenders. Before an arrest could be made, Molly disappeared along with confidential police records and seized evidence.
Current Assessment: Considered armed with sensitive intelligence and capable of assisting organised criminal activity. Locate immediately.

Witness Statement #002
Record Type: Witness Statement
Badge Code: BCIC-003
Location: Fable Book Café
Suspect: Officer Molly Claw
Disguise Used: Muffin – The Cord Thief
Submitted By: Undercover Creative Writing Detective
Cat Crimes HQ has confirmed that former Officer Molly Claw was operating inside Fable Book Café while disguised as fellow suspect Muffin – The Cord Thief.
Investigators believe Molly deliberately adopted Muffin’s identity to conceal her presence and avoid recognition. As a trained former Claw Enforcement officer, she possesses detailed knowledge of surveillance procedures, suspect identification methods and investigative weaknesses.
The reporting detective encountered Molly during a creative writing session while enjoying a matcha. The disguise initially appeared convincing, and the suspect behaved calmly enough to avoid attracting immediate attention.
The reason for Molly’s presence remains unknown. Detectives are investigating whether she was gathering intelligence, meeting criminal associates or monitoring activity within the café on behalf of the wider Cat Crimes network.
Witness Statement #003
Record Type: Detective Witness Statement
Badge Code: BCIC-002
Location: Mabel’s Coffee Lounge
Suspect: Officer Molly Claw
Outcome: Retained by reporting detective
Effect on Detective: Cheered her up
Cat Crimes HQ has received a confirmed sighting of Officer Molly Claw at Mabel’s Coffee Lounge on 07 July 2026.
The former officer was observed hanging around the premises without providing any clear explanation for her presence. Given Molly’s suspected links to organised criminal activity, investigators believe she may have been waiting for members of the Diamond Circle.
No other members of the organisation were positively identified during the encounter. However, Molly’s presence at the location has raised concerns that a covert meeting may have been planned or recently concluded.
The reporting detective chose to retain Molly following the encounter. The detective later advised Cat Crimes HQ that the discovery had cheered her up considerably.
Witness Statement #004
Record Type: Detective Witness Statement
Badge Code: BCIC-005
Location: Fable Bookshop Café
Suspect: Officer Molly Claw
Reporting Detectives: Chief Detective Eva and Assistant Detective
Outcome: Still under consideration
Effect on Detectives: Made them smile
Eva spotted her first, which immediately made her Chief Detective. I was promoted to Assistant Detective, mainly because I was holding the drinks.”
Cat Crimes HQ received a confirmed sighting of Officer Molly Claw at Fable Bookshop Café on 13 July 2026.
The wanted former officer was discovered by two detectives who were conducting what they insist was an entirely innocent investigation involving books, refreshments and a possible cake-related distraction.
Eva was the first to identify Officer Molly and was immediately awarded the field rank of Chief Detective. Her companion was promoted to Assistant Detective, having maintained control of the drinks throughout the operation.
The detectives have not yet decided what they intend to do with Officer Molly. Cat Crimes HQ understands that she may remain in detective custody, be passed to another investigator or be released back into the field.
Regardless of the final decision, the encounter reportedly made both detectives smile.
Officer Molly remains under temporary detective supervision while her long-term fate is considered.
Detective Report #005
Record Type: Internal Detective Report
Subject: Officer Molly Claw
Associated Group: The Diamond Circle
Reason for Questioning: Suspected planned criminal activity
Interview Outcome: Released without charge
Public Sighting: No
Former Officer Molly Claw was brought in for questioning after Cat Crimes HQ received intelligence suggesting that members of the Diamond Circle were planning an operation involving a delivery of premium smoked sausages.
Investigators had not yet identified the intended target or confirmed when the suspected operation would take place. However, Molly’s known connections to the Diamond Circle placed her under immediate suspicion.
When questioned about recent communication with Sheila – The Promenade Predator and Tinkerbell – The Lazy Assassin, Molly stated that she could not comment on the activities or whereabouts of “former colleagues.”
She remained calm throughout questioning and repeatedly reminded detectives that suspicion alone did not constitute evidence.
Detectives were unable to produce sufficient evidence linking Molly to an active criminal plan. She was released without charge pending further enquiries.
Covert surveillance was recommended due to continued concerns that Molly remained in contact with other members of the Diamond Circle.
Witness Statement #006
Record Type: Detective Witness Statement
Badge Code: BCIC-001
Location: Eat the Italian Way
Suspect: Officer Molly Claw
Associated Suspect: Don Meowleone – The Pawfather
Outcome: Still under consideration
Effect on Detective: Cheered them up
Cat Crimes HQ received a confirmed sighting of Officer Molly Claw at Eat the Italian Way on 28 July 2026.
The former officer was found at premises associated with Don Meowleone – The Pawfather, raising immediate concerns over possible contact between Molly and a senior member of the Diamond Circle.
No exchange was witnessed and Molly offered no explanation for her presence. Investigators are therefore considering two possible reasons for the visit.
Possibility Two: Molly may have been using her former law-enforcement training to gather intelligence on Don Meowleone and his activities for reasons of her own.
Detectives cannot currently determine whether Molly remains loyal to the Diamond Circle, is secretly working against its members, or is attempting to play both sides for her own benefit.
The reporting detective has not yet decided whether Officer Molly will remain in detective custody, be passed to another investigator or be released back into the field.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Molly’s intentions, the encounter reportedly cheered the detective up.
Detectives are advised to watch for the movement of confidential files, sealed packages, contraband catnip or unusually guarded portions of smoked sausage.
Witness Statement #007
Record Type: Detective Witness Statement
Badge Code: BCIC-001
Location: Eat the Italian Way
Suspect: Officer Molly Claw
Associated Suspect: Don Meowleone – The Pawfather
Outcome: Still under consideration
Effect on Detective: Found the encounter funny
Cat Crimes HQ has received another confirmed sighting of Officer Molly Claw at Eat the Italian Way.
This is the second recent report placing Molly at premises associated with Don Meowleone – The Pawfather. Investigators are becoming increasingly suspicious that her repeated appearances are not accidental.
No direct exchange between Molly and Don Meowleone was witnessed. However, her continued presence at the location suggests she may be delivering messages, collecting intelligence or attending private meetings connected to the Diamond Circle.
Investigators are considering whether the restaurant is being used as a regular Diamond Circle meeting point or whether Molly is returning to collect something that was not available during her previous visit.
The reporting detective has not yet decided whether Molly will be kept in detective custody, passed to another investigator or returned to the field.
Whatever Molly was doing at the location, the encounter was reportedly considered funny and successfully made the detective smile.
Until further evidence becomes available, Cat Crimes HQ accepts that all three explanations are equally plausible.
