Cat Crimes is a free community collectables project created by Yochi & Co in support of Blackpool Cats in Care.
Each badge features one of our completely fictional "criminal cats", complete with a unique character card, made-up crimes and a QR code that allows people to log where they found it.
While the crimes are entirely fictional, many are inspired by the real-life mischief of rescue cats and family pets. From stolen sausages and shredded toilet rolls to midnight zoomies and cheese theft, you may recognise a few familiar behaviours among our most wanted criminals!
By discovering, collecting and sharing Cat Crimes badges, you're helping spread awareness of rescue cats looking for their forever homes.
Cat Crimes is created by Yochi & Co, a small family project based on a love of rescue cats, collecting and storytelling.
Every badge, card and case file is designed by hand with the aim of creating smiles while supporting Blackpool Cats in Care.
The cats featured in Cat Crimes are fictional criminals, but many rescue cats find themselves needing new homes through no fault of their own.
People sometimes have to give up beloved pets because of changes in circumstances such as illness, housing problems, financial difficulties, family changes, or because a cat's needs are different from what they expected.
Rescues like Blackpool Cats in Care help these cats find safety, care, and a second chance at a happy life. While our criminals may be guilty of cheese theft, toilet roll destruction and suspicious late-night activities, every real cat deserves patience, understanding and a loving home.
Behind every fictional criminal is a real rescue cat who deserves a second chance.
Every Cat Crimes badge begins life at Cat Crimes HQ in St Annes, Lancashire.
Each criminal is carefully created, given their own unique case file and crime, before being pressed into a badge, packed into an evidence bag and released into the wild.
Every report you send, every photo you share and every badge you discover becomes part of the investigation, helping us track the adventures of our most wanted criminals.
Find Me. Keep Me. Hide Me Again.
The choice is yours. Every badge has a story.
Every cat has a crime.
Every adventure helps rescue cats.
