Sheila
Sheila first came to the attention of Cat Crimes HQ following a series of disturbances along the promenade involving damaged flower beds, scattered leaves and unexplained piles of soil. Witnesses repeatedly described a long-haired, brown-and-white suspect charging through the area with her coat blowing wildly in the coastal wind.
Investigators believe Sheila becomes significantly more active during windy conditions. Once leaves, litter or loose petals begin moving across the promenade, she appears unable to resist pursuit and will continue the chase regardless of flower beds, benches or startled members of the public standing in her path.
"The leaf made the first move."
Her unusually long coat and permanently windswept appearance allow her to blend naturally into the seafront environment. Surveillance teams report that she can disappear into decorative planting areas within seconds, often leaving behind only flattened flowers, disturbed soil and several highly offended gardeners.
Calm weather appears to reduce her activity considerably, but the arrival of strong coastal winds can trigger immediate pursuit behaviour. Cat Crimes HQ considers all moving leaves and freshly maintained promenade flower beds at risk while Sheila remains at large.
