Teddy
Teddy is regarded as one of the most feared bedroom offenders currently under investigation by Cat Crimes HQ. During daylight hours, he presents himself as a sweet and affectionate household companion, but investigators believe this behaviour is a carefully maintained disguise intended to lower suspicion.
His criminal activity increases significantly after bedtime. Numerous incidents involving missing toy mice, unexplained noises beneath duvets and suspicious disturbances around bedside tables have been linked to the suspect.
"I was guarding the bedroom."
Evidence is frequently discovered beneath pillows, inside blankets or placed beside sleeping humans as a warning to others. Teddy has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to remain completely still and appear innocent while standing directly beside the scene.
Investigators believe he operates alone and relies heavily on darkness, surprise and overwhelming cuteness to avoid prosecution. Despite the growing evidence against him, Teddy continues to show no remorse.
Although numerous "mouse incidents" have been attributed to Teddy, investigators have yet to catch him in the act. By the time officers arrive, the suspect is invariably found asleep on the bed, purring loudly and appearing deeply offended by the accusations.
