🗂️ Investigation Log #001
Date: 27 May 2026
Classification: Initial Intelligence
Filed By: Cat Crimes HQ
Summary
Tiggs first came to the attention of Cat Crimes following a series of territorial disputes in local back gardens. Witnesses reported frequent fence-top confrontations, overturned flowerpots and loud late-night “negotiations” between neighbouring felines.
Initially believed to be acting alone, further intelligence has since revealed that Tiggs has become one of Tiny – The Enforcer’s trusted muscle, often intimidating rival cats and helping enforce Tiny’s authority wherever required.
Despite several attempts to question him, Tiggs continues to patrol local gardens as though they belong to him.
Status: Active. Considered armed with claws, confidence and a complete disregard for property boundaries.

Witness Statement Received

Restricted Intelligence
Detectives conducting discreet surveillance also observed Tiggs arriving at the premises shortly after a meeting had been arranged between Tiny – The Enforcer and Don Meowleone – The Pawfather.
Intelligence suggests Tiggs had been sent by Tiny to ask whether Don wished to participate in a planned raid on a sausage delivery lorry expected at Blackpool Sainsbury’s later that week.
The full conversation could not be heard. However, Tiggs was seen leaving after several quiet exchanges and what appeared to be an approving nod from Don.
No approach was made. Detectives remained concealed to avoid revealing that the meeting had been discovered.

Operation Sausage Run
09 July 2026
Blackpool Sainsbury’s loading area
Sausage delivery heist
Suspects fled the scene
HQ Outcome
Detectives were unable to positively identify the cats involved because the suspects fled as soon as they realised they were being watched.
One unidentified feline was observed running from the area with a long length of sausage trailing behind him. The suspect escaped before officers could apprehend or identify him.
Although nobody was arrested, Cat Crimes HQ considers the operation confirmation that the earlier intelligence regarding the planned Blackpool Sainsbury’s sausage heist was accurate.
Intelligence confirmed — no suspects apprehended.

🍰 An Innocent Family Outing
It was supposed to be a perfectly ordinary family outing.
Detective Roo had arrived at Eat The Italian Way with mum and stepdad for a relaxing afternoon and a rather delicious slice of lemon cake.
According to the detective's official statement, the cake was...
WITNESS STATEMENT — DETECTIVE ROO
"I was having cake with my mum and stepdad and saw the badge in the cafe! I had lemon cake and it was yummy."
Cat Crimes HQ considers this a highly satisfactory cake review.
Unfortunately, the peaceful afternoon was about to take a rather suspicious turn.
Because lurking somewhere within the restaurant was a familiar feline criminal.
Tiggs.
🐈 The Backyard Scrapper Returns
Tiggs is no ordinary troublemaker.
Known throughout the investigation files as The Backyard Scrapper, the suspect has a long-standing reputation for patrolling gardens as though they personally belong to him.
Property boundaries mean very little to Tiggs.
Neither, apparently, do the rules of polite society.
But what makes this latest discovery particularly interesting is the location.
Eat The Italian Way.
A restaurant already known to feature in several Cat Crimes investigations.
And, more importantly, a location associated with the notorious Don Meowleone.
Cat Crimes HQ has immediately reopened Tiggs's previous files.
📂 The Sausage Run Connection
Investigators have noted that Tiggs was previously linked to Operation Sausage Run in July.
The operation raised serious questions about suspicious sausage-related activity on the Fylde Coast.
Now, several months later, Tiggs has resurfaced at a restaurant connected to one of the region's most influential feline crime bosses.
Coincidence?
Cat Crimes HQ is not entirely convinced.
Investigators are currently examining whether the suspect's latest appearance could be connected to ongoing criminal activity.
No wrongdoing has been confirmed during this particular sighting.
Nevertheless, the location has raised more than a few eyebrows.
🤝 A Meeting of Criminal Minds?
Tiggs is known to have connections with Tiny, another influential figure in the Cat Crimes underworld.
Could Tiggs have been acting as a messenger between Tiny and Don Meowleone?
Was he negotiating access to new territory?
Discussing future operations?
Or had he simply wandered in after catching the scent of something delicious?
At present, investigators cannot rule out any possibility.
HQ INTELLIGENCE NOTE
The possibility of cooperation between Tiny's associates and the Meowleone crime family remains entirely speculative.
No meeting has been witnessed or independently confirmed.
However, HQ recommends keeping a very close eye on future developments.
🕵️ Detective Roo Makes the Discovery
Whatever Tiggs's intentions, his attempt to remain unnoticed failed.
Detective Roo spotted the suspect during the family visit and successfully recovered criminal identification number 009.
The evidence has been retained by the detective.
Cat Crimes HQ commends Detective Roo for remaining alert even while enjoying an excellent slice of lemon cake.
Investigating feline crime is demanding work.
Particularly when dessert is involved.
❤️ A Rather Wonderful Development
But the investigation took a particularly lovely turn.
Following the discovery, Detective Roo announced an intention to follow the cat rescue supported by Cat Crimes.
And that, as far as HQ is concerned, is wonderful news.
Behind the suspicious cats, ridiculous crimes and questionable alibis, Cat Crimes has a much bigger purpose.
Helping more people discover and support real rescue cats who need a little extra love.
Detective Roo may have started the afternoon looking forward to lemon cake.
But by the end of it, the rescue cats had gained another supporter.
And Cat Crimes HQ thinks that's rather special.
🚨 Cat Crimes HQ Status Update
🐾 Final HQ Assessment
One delicious lemon cake. One suspicious backyard scrapper. One very observant detective.
Tiggs has once again been positively identified, this time at Eat The Italian Way.
His presence at a location associated with Don Meowleone has prompted further investigation into possible criminal connections.
Meanwhile, Detective Roo has successfully recovered the evidence and earned a place in the Cat Crimes investigation files.
Cat Crimes HQ would also like to thank mum and stepdad for their assistance with the investigation.
CASE STATUS: OPEN — Tiggs identified. Evidence retained. Possible criminal connections under investigation.
